This monograph addresses the critical need for Integrated Industrial Structures (IIS) to harmonize Sustainable Development (SD) and Economic Security (ES) in volatile markets. The study establishes that SD is the foundation for long-term ES, while security enables sustained investment in sustainability goals. Organizational analysis focuses on enhancing systemic resilience under market uncertainty, leveraging economic-mathematical models such as Input-Output and System Dynamics for quantitative vulnerability assessment. The core applied contribution is the development of a financial toolkit featuring models to optimize both short- and long-term borrowing secured by noncurrent and current assets. These rigorous models incorporate constraints to maintain critical financial stability indicators, including liquidity and equity sufficiency ratios, during operational expansion. The selection of the optimal financing strategy is grounded in a risk-management approach, maximizing net profit adjusted by the probability of achieving forecast revenue.
The monograph is intended for undergraduate and graduate students, university instructors in economics, managers of integrated industrial structures, and a broad readership interested in the development and application of financial-support methods aimed at enhancing the sustainability of economic development and the economic security of integrated industrial structures.
